Vista / Vase

A beautifully-shaped vase in my studio has found its way into recent paintings. There is something so perfect about the form. And something so wabi-sabi about the cracks, which I repaired with gold-coloured puffy paint. I know… not exactly “dans les règles de l’art” Here are two paintings from this series:

Like an idiot, I didn’t proofread my business card before printing, and the email address is wrong. SO … if you have one of these, please add a dot between mona and turner. And if you used the bad address, please know I am not ignoring you, I just never got your email. Sheesh!!


This little painting arrived at the AHAA Fall show still wet (ish) and was sold the next day. Hello…goodbye.
